Tawny was a black brindle with white trim who shared life with me for 14 years. He was a joy to live with and became the catalyst that introduced me to new friends all over the world.

Although he was used somewhat selectively at stud, He was the top whippet sire for 3 years, siring many Champions and CC winners, Group and BIS winners and for a while, his son Tilegreen Tornado was the holder of the breed record for male CC’s. Tawny went on to feature in many of the pedigrees of our whippets today. One of the characteristics he passed on to his progeny was his wonderful sweet temperament. Truly a dog in a million!
